The homebuilder has inked a $2.8 million deal for 11,743-sf of space at 500 La Gonda Way, which it will use as it regional office. The length of the lease is 87 months.
Michael Lloyd and Mike Copeland, both of Colliers, represented BrookfieldHomes in the transaction, while Sean Cooley and Marcy Place with Cornish &Carey Commercial represented The Tan Group.
According to Lloyd, Brookfield is relocating so it will be centrally located within the East Bay. The company currently has seven projects in the Bay Area either in progress or in development.
The company was attracted to the quality and high visibility of the building, as well as the location. Danville offers excellent housing opportunities fro executives and relatively good access to affordable housing in nearby communities.
