Crosson is opening The Castle, a $4 million, 30,000-sf combination meeting/exhibit center/banquet hall in Mount Dora, FL on Oct. 28, Lake County's first mini-convention center. The banquet area can accommodate 700 guests.

Crosson couldn't be reached at GlobeSt.com's publication deadline to learn of other commercial developments he is planning. Subcontractors who have worked with him on ventures tell GlobeSt.com on condition of anonymity Crosson is funding The Castle project himself.

The Castle is his third commercial real estate enterprise in Mount Dora. Crosson previously developed the Village Antique Mall and Fifth Avenue Auction House. Friends tell GlobeSt.com Crosson had planned to retire at 43 but is turning to real estate development as a new challenge.
