Thomas Kimsey, vice president of acquisitions and development for the firm's Arizona office, said the success of the center is a result of the building's flexibility and the need for retail and office space in the growing Anthem community, which is expected to reach a population of 35,000 when fully developed. "The multi-tenant building is well situated in a growing community where few building options currently exist for businesses to locate," he said, adding that he expects to have another 20% of the first building leased soon, bringing occupancy to nearly 90%.
Phase II of the project will be built on 4.5 abutting acres. Valley Commercial Contractors LLP is the general contractor for the project, designed by the architectural firm of Poliquin Kellogg Design Group.
