Planned 257-Unit Housing Project Delayed

PITTSBURG, CA-The proposed Bailey Estates housing project apparently has some snags. Developer Johns Stremel hopes they can be fixed with a two-week extension on his Planning Commission review.

PITTSBURG, CA-John Stremel, developer of the proposed Bailey Estates housing project in Pittsburg, has delayed consideration of the project by the Pittsburg Planning Commission after having second thoughts about some of the details.

Stremel plans to build a 257-unit housing project on a 120-acre site in Pittsburg’s southwest hills, on Bailey Road. The Planning Commission was expected to review the $14.6 million project’s full-scale environmental report and design plans this week but Stremel requested a two-week extension, saying that some details needed to be clarified or revised.
