London's GVA Grimley will work with 65 sites across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, while GVA Hunter, based in Chattanooga, TN, will coordinate the search and establishment of 65 sites across North America and the Pacific Rim. GVA estimates each site will cost $150 million to identify, acquire and manage.
Cyntech plants are designed to convert and recycle 200,000 to 600,000 pounds of waste per day, including rubber tires, mixed plastics and carpet fibers, into diesel fuel, liquefied petroleum gas, synthesis gas and electrical power. The company says 95% of the stock material is converted into finished product.
