The insurance firm will move into its new space at 4343 N. Scottsdale Rd. in December, joining other high-profile tenants such as American Founders life Insurance, Milestone Equity partners, New York Life and the Scottsdale Culinary Institute. The 606,521-sf, mixed-use building has been upgraded with fiber-optic wiring and other amenities in a renovation project that converted the structure from a former mall to office and retail use. The renovation, which included a 129,671-sf retail space component, won awards for its redesign.
Building owner Scottsdale Acquisition LLC of New York City was represented in the transaction by Tom Adelson, Jim Fijan, Jerry Roberts and Kevin Calihan, all of CB Richard Ellis Inc.'s Phoenix office. The tenant was represented by Jerry McCormick, Luke Walker and John Pompay, also of CB Richard Ellis' Phoenix office.
