Pompano Marketplace's major tenants include Winn-Dixie, Jo-Ann Fabrics, Stein Mart and Baer's Furniture Outlet. Pompano Marketplace is 86%-occupied.

Each of Carrabba's 108 locations seats about 220 people, according to the company's Web site. The restaurant has seven locations in South Florida. Mindy McIlroy, associate director of leasing for Miami-based Terranova Corp., handled the transaction.

Carrabba's Italian Grill was founded by Johnny Carrabba and Damian Mandola in Houston on Dec. 26, 1986. Carrabba's formed a joint-venture partnership with Outback Steakhouse Inc. in January 1993.

As part of the arrangement, 10 Carrabba's opened in Florida and Texas. In January 1995, Outback Steakhouse Inc. gained the rights to develop the restaurant nationwide. Carrabba's plans to open at least 25 locations this year.
