LI Real Estate Seminar to Feature Industry Powerhouses

NEW YORK CITY- Next Wednesday’s half-day symposium on Long Island real estate will feature commentary by Congressman Steve Israel, D-NY, followed by three back-to-back panel sessions covering development, finance and taxation issues. The Oct. 30 event, sponsored by the Real Estate Practitioner’s Institute and the Association for a Better Long Island, boasts a heavy-hitting roster of experts from all industry sectors.

The event, Real Estate’s Impact on the Long Island Economy, will kick off with remarks by Real Estate Practitioner’s Institute chairperson Kathleen Giamo, followed by commentary from Israel on Congressional legislation and its effects on the Long Island Economy.

Gerald D. Schein, vice chairman of Real Estate Media Inc., GlobeSt.com’s parent company, will moderate three panels, beginning with a discussion of real estate development. On the dais will be Klein & Eversoll partner Donald Eversoll, Reckson Associates Realty Corp. co-president Mitchell Rechler, Spiegel Associates CEO Alan Eidler and Ken Breslin of Breslin Realty.
