The buyer, Liz Mullarkey, Trustee of the Mullarkey/Brys Trust, has paid nearly $1.6 million for the 17,077 sf. She plans to use the industrial space, which is located at 17022 Camino San Bernardo, as a gymnastics studio.

Jeb Bake of CB Richard Ellis acted on behalf of Mullarkey. The seller, DHS, 4S LLC, was represented by Tim Hoag and Barry Mahlberg of Burnham Real Estate Services ONCOR International.

Industrial users continue to gobble up space in the San Diego market, as a string of transactions has closed here in recent weeks. Another San Diego deal that recently closed involves a six-year sublease in the Miramar Distribution Center. According to the terms of the agreement, fitness equipment manufacturer Hoist Fitness Systems will take 31,761 sf here in November.
