Located between the towns of Orange and Gordonsville, the industrial park sits is just off James Madison Highway in the state's central Piedmont region, which is 15 miles outside of Charlottesville. State and local government authorities competed with their counterparts in Kentucky for the new facility, which will bring 30 jobs to the area. "This significant investment is a vote of confidence in Virginia's future and the hardworking citizens of this region," Gov. Mark R. Warner says in a statement announcing Lohmann's decision. Warner signed off on a $115,000 Governor's Opportunity Fund to help facilitate the development.
