State Agency, Austin Newcomer Boost 800 Brazos' Occupancy to 70%

AUSTIN-The Texas Health and Human Services Commission takes 5,115 sf while Quantitative Environmental Analysis of Montvale, NJ, signs for 1,434 sf. The state agency space complements 41,064 sf in a neighboring building.

AUSTIN-A state agency and a business new to Austin have taken more than 7,500 sf at 800 Brazos in the CBD. The new tenants take the building’s occupancy to 70%.

In the bigger deal, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission leased 5,115 sf, says Vic Russo, senior vice president in the Austin office of Jones Lang LaSalle, which leases the building. In the other, Quantitative Environmental Analysis, based in Montvale, NJ, signed for 1,434 sf.

Russo represented the building owner, the Shidler Group, in the deals. Matt Watson of Austinofficespace.com represented Quantitative Environmental.
