Some administrative offices for Valley Bank will be housed in the Bromley branch. The bank will occupy the first floor of the building and the lower level. Located at the southwest corner of Bromley Lane and I-76, the Bromley Branch will be a full-service facility with drive-up and ATM operations. Headquarters for the Bromley Cos., master developer of Bromley Park residential community, also will be on the second floor.

"The bank is the first of a number of large and small retail projects we anticipate to announce in the coming months," said Robert Lembke, the Bromley Cos.' managing partner. "We are in various stages of negotiation with a number of very interested parties."

Bromley Park currently has 654 houses, and three residential developers continue to be active there.

"The northeast quadrant of the Denver metro area is experiencing rapid growth because of its proximity to Denver International Airport, easy access to downtown Denver, and the completion of the E-470 link between I-70 and I-25," Lembke said.

The Bromley Cos. is also developing the Bromley Business Park on the east side of I-76 across from Bromley Park with an emphasis on distribution companies.

"I-70 has been the focal point for the distribution industry in Denver," Lembke says. "But land costs and congestion are causing companies to look elsewhere. An increasingly attractive alternative is the northeast Denver metro quadrant, where land costs have not inflated as much, and where I-76, E-470 and I-25, and a major rail line, offer excellent access."

Organized in 1971 by James J. O'Dell, Valley Bank & Trust currently has more than $200 million in assets, according to Donna J. Petrocco, president and COO. The Bromley Town Center Branch will be the bank's 12th location. Jack Rudd of Boulder is the architect. It is scheduled to open next summer.
