LB Keil COO Roland Kiser tells GlobeSt.com that the deal for LB Keil's first US branch runs through November 2010. The sublessor is pB Capital. Kiser would not discuss financial details of the lease.
Construction consultancy Gardiner & Theobald has been retained as cost manager and project manager for the extensive build-out, which will include new trading floors, data rooms and offices.
Completed in 1983, 590 Madison Ave., formerly the IBM Building, is a 41-story tower that occupies the entire avenue frontage between East 56th and East 57th streets on the west side. Clad in polished black stone, the wedge-shaped building is cut away on one corner for a dramatic cantilevered effect.
