The Laura Dozer Center, to be located at 1802 W. Parkside Lane, will include buildings each uniquely designed to address the needs of United Cerebral Palsy clients, Ann Seibert, marketing coordinator for builder Wespac Construction Inc. tells GlobeSt.com. The 7,900-sf Hope Building will house administrative and intake facilities. A second building, the 8,100-sf Nurture Building, will be earmarked as an early intervention center to help the group's youngest patients maximize their abilities.

Siebert said the Believe Building, a 3,500-sf therapeutic center with garden walks and various patio layouts, is designed to create a "real world" environment where patients can learn how to deal with everyday situations. A fourth structure, the 2,500-sf Image Building, will primarily operate as a therapy-based day care center for disabled toddlers.

Siebert said the new campus, scheduled to be completed by May, will allow UCP to provide an additional 250,000 hours of service to children and adults with disabilities such as cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, spina bifida, attention deficit disorder, autism and learning disabilities. The group currently services more than 1,600 Arizona families every year.
