The firm, which also operates stores in Nevada and southern California, signed a six-year lease on the property with Michael A. Pollack Real Estate Investments of Mesa, which owns the 39,260-sf retail plaza at 5340-5346 W. Glendale Ave. The store opens in November.

The company selected the site because of its location and the extensive renovations made to the property by the owner. Pollack, who purchased the center in 2000, recently revamped the building with a new stucco and brick exterior, landscaping, tile roof and interior and exterior lighting.

99 Cents Only was represented in the transaction by Joe Felix, the company's real estate manager. Patrick Cassidy represented Michael A. Pollack Real Estate Investments.
