After a year of searching, the information technology services company renewed an existing lease on 22,432 sf of office space at 2222 W. Dunlap Ave., sparing the company a major move and giving the firm a good deal on the offices it has leased for the past five years. "We scoured the market," broker Tom Auther of CB Richard Ellis Inc. tells GlobeSt.com. "We thought if these guys give us a deal, we might as well stay."

For the Plano, TX firm, the deal was indeed a good one. Over the five-year term which begins in February, the company will pay $2.13 million for the three-story, garden-style offices located at 23rd and Dunlop avenues.

Auther and Chris Ackel, both with CB Richard Ellis' Phoenix office, represented the tenant in the transaction. The building owner, Opus Real Estate Arizona I LLC, of Phoenix used an in-house broker.
