Columbia Gorge Corporate Center Taking Shape

GRESHAM, OR-Two years after the 54-acre business park and its inaugural tenant were announced, construction is again underway at Columbia Gorge Corporate Center, located just outside Portland’s northeastern border between I-84 and Sandy Blvd.

Developer Opus Northwest has four buildings under development, including two build-to-suit industrial buildings and two speculative flex buildings. The two new build-to-suit facilities will total just over 100,000 sf and the two speculative buildings will total about 70,000 sf.

In mid 2003, Boise, ID based WinCo Foods, Inc. plans to occupy its new 55,000 sf central baking operation. The facility will be used to produce and distribute fresh baked goods to local WinCo stores. On a similar time frame is Teeny Foods, another bread products operation, which is having a 46,650-sf production facility built on 3.9 acres. The financial aspects of those deals are not being made available until after the deal closes, which will follow completion of the buildings.
