"This new facility is the largest we have ever built," Noland chairman Lloyd U. Noland III says. "It will provide us with a more efficient and reliable method of ensuring that we always have the right products in our branch warehouses to meet customers' needs. We will start with 200,000 sf, but we are designing the facility to be expandable to 400,000 sf, which would create even more jobs."

Prince George County's Industrial Park--spanning over 1,600 acres near the intersection of Interstate 295 and US Route 460--sits in a state empowerment zone, making Noland eligible for tax credits. The facility is scheduled to be up and running by mid-2003.
