Noland Chooses VA Site for 200,000-SF Industrial Property

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, VA-Area manufacturing and construction industry mechanical equipment distributor Noland Company has chosen Virginia over North Carolina as the location for its new $8.5-million distribution facility. The 200,000-sf, warehouse property will be located in Prince George County’s Industrial Park and will initially create about 40 new jobs in the area.

“This new facility is the largest we have ever built,” Noland chairman Lloyd U. Noland III says. “It will provide us with a more efficient and reliable method of ensuring that we always have the right products in our branch warehouses to meet customers’ needs. We will start with 200,000 sf, but we are designing the facility to be expandable to 400,000 sf, which would create even more jobs.”
