LSE intends to sell the 0.56ha site at 125 Old Broad Street once it has secured planning consent. The building is surplus to requirements now that the LSE has signed up to take offices in King Edward Court at Paternoster Square.
The sale of the site with planning permission is expected to fetch about £100m.
