Shared Lab Space a Hit with Intronn

GAITHERSBURG, MD-Gene therapy research company Intronn commits to 9,000 sf and becomes the first to take on shared lab space at Tech Park 270, a newly available facility offering pre-engineered shared services designed to accommodate life science organizations. Space in the specialized 24,000-sf development located within the 180,650-sf building at 910 Clopper Rd. goes for $32.50 per-sf, according to leasing agent Scheer Partners Inc.

“This is a very concentrated hub for life sciences,” Scheer Partners’ Kenneth D. Berkman tells GlobeSt.com. Other bioscience organizations in the Montgomery County area include MedImmune in Gaithersburg, and BioReliance, Human Genome Sciences, and the Institute for Genomic Research in Rockville. “We worked with the ownership to create spec development for basic wet lab R&D use.
