Downtown Avalon Park Set for Holiday Opening

ORLANDO-The first $10 million, 90,000-sf commercial phase at the three-year-old, 1,860-acre community in east Orlando is part of a planned 2.5-million-sf undertaking that will comprise rental apartments, office, retail and a supermarket.

ORLANDO-Locally based Avalon Park Associates is shooting for a Christmas period opening of the first $10 million, 90,000-sf commercial phase at Avalon Park, a three-year-old, 1,860-acre community on Alafaya Trail, south of Colonial Drive in east Orlando.

Four restaurants, a hair salon, marshal arts studio, coffee shop and offices of the East Orange Sun newspaper will comprise the first phase of the planned mixed-use undertaking of 2.5 million sf of rental apartments, office, retail and a supermarket.
