SCOTTSDALE, AZ-An all-star lineup of sports stars and celebrities will be on hand tonight to kick off the grand opening of the first Fox Sports Grill in the country. The $3-million, 20,000-sf sports-themed restaurant and bar is designed as the prototype for other Fox Sports Grills.

“The response to this has been outstanding,” Nathan Crowell, project manager for builder Wespac Construction Inc. of Phoenix, told GlobeSt.com. The facility opens to the public Friday.

The freestanding building at 16203 N. Scottsdale Rd. in the Scottsdale Promenade was formerly the site of Mondo’s Cafe. Fox Sports and B&B Restaurant Ventures are partners in the project.
