"We decided to remain at 36 South Charles St. because of our strong ties to Baltimore, its superb location in the city and because we were impressed by the many renovations and improvements made by the ownership, under the supervision of Manekin," SSG&S president Bill Carlson says. The improvements were made over a two-year period and included the expansion of the parking garage, as well as lobby renovations in the 25-story tower. "We upgraded a conference room that had belonged to law firm Piper Rudnick, which had a couple of floors in the building," Manekin spokesperson Caryn Sagal tells GlobeSt.com. "We made the conference room accessible to all the tenants and we put in a health club on the second floor."
