Currently, the building is solidly leased to occupants including Chicago Title, Walgreens's, The Maryland African American Museum Corp., and several law firms. Walgreen's committed to a long-term lease on its space two years ago. The 55-year-old structure was originally built for a bank, and has undergone two renovations between 1994 and 2000. MacKenzie officials note that the new owner "has unique plans to redevelop the remaining available space."
