Annual IREM Forecast Set for December

PORTLAND-Several hundred local commercial real estate professionals will converge on the Downtown Portland Marriott early next month for the Institute of Real Estate Management’s annual forecast breakfast, where executives with Gerding Edlen Development, Opus Northwest, Pacific Coast Restaurants, L.J. Melody and Mark D. Barry & Assoc. will analyze 2002 and prognosticate 2003.

Specifically, Gerding Edlen’s office leasing expert Scott Eaton will speak on the region’s office market; local L.J. Melody Director John Petersen will speak on real estate investment and finance; Mark Barry, principal of his own appraisal firm, will speak on the multifamily market; Bruce Wood, head of Opus Northwest’s local operations, will speak on the industrial market, and; Robert MacLellan of Pacific Coast Restaurants will speak on the retail scene.
