Camelback Esplanade Ropes Seven New Deals

PHOENIX-Washington Mutual and Paine Webber expand their offices at the Camelback Corridor landmark, which also rolled five newcomers onto the tenant roster. Washington Mutual picked up an extra 7,222 sf and Paine Webber, 2,500 sf.

PHOENIX-Seven new and current tenants will fill 47,200 sf at the Camelback Esplanade with the signing of new leases, bringing the mixed-use project to 80% occupancy.

The leases reflect an expansion for both Washington Mutual and Paine Webber International Banking Group and the relocation of Opus West Corp.’s headquarters. Other new tenants include Countrywide Credit Industries, Charles Schwab, Nova Home Loans and ACME AZ LLC. All the tenants will occupy the fifth and final tower at the near one-million-sf Camelback Esplanade property.
