Clear Channel Plans New HQ

LOS ANGELES, CA-The outdoor advertising firm will move from its longtime headquarters near Downtown Los Angeles to a new building at Boeing Realty Corp.'s Harbor Gateway Business Center near Torrance.

LOS ANGELES, CA-Clear Channel Outdoor will move its Los Angeles headquarters from its longtime downtown location to a site in the Harbor Gateway Business Center being developed by Boeing Realty Corp. in the Harbor Gateway neighborhood near Torrance.

In a deal coordinated by the non-profit Genesis LA Economic Growth Corp., the outdoor advertising firm will move to what a Clear Channel spokesman tells GlobeSt.com is a 4-acre land parcel at the 170-acre Boeing development. He says the headquarters facility will include administrative offices as well as operations including fabrication of displays and loading of trucks that haul the displays.

Construction is expected to begin soon on the new headquarters building, which will be at the corner of Harborgate Way and Knox Street. It will accommodate 170 workers and is expected to be completed by July.
