Cheddar's Chomps into Austin With Land Purchase

AUSTIN-The Arlington, TX-based restaurant chain should have its first area store open by year-end. Leasing continues for other pad sites at Three Points Centre at Interstate 35 and FM 1825.

AUSTIN-Cheddar’s Casual Café makes its Austin-area debut at the Three Points Centre, a shopping center under development at Interstate 35 and FM 1825. The Arlington, TX-based restaurant chain bought the land for the 13-acre center and is looking for tenants.

The Austin Area Teachers Federal Credit Union has bought a 1.26-acre pad site at the center for its first Pflugerville location. The credit union’s building fronts on FM 1825, which turns into Pecan Street as it goes into Pflugerville to the east.

Eric DeJernett of NAI Commercial Industrial Properties negotiated in behalf of the credit union and K.C. Willis of Duncan Commercial, based in Austin, represented Cheddar’s.
