Developer Faces Alleged Dredging Violations

ORLANDO-Arlington-Clermont Investments LLC of Clermont, FL denies allegations by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection that the company's work on a planned 440-acre subdivision is polluting the Palatlakaha River.

ORLANDO-The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is completing water tests this week that will either clear or implicate one of Lake County’s biggest developers on charges of polluting the Palatlakaha River which connects Lakes Minneola, Minnehaha and Louisa.

Arlington-Clermont Investments LLC of Clermont, FL denies the allegations. Contractors who have worked with the developer tell GlobeSt.com on condition of anonymity the alleged contamination of muck and silt in the water is being triggered by the fast-flowing river itself, as Arlington-Clermont contends.
