The transaction was reported by Steve Yassky, vice president of Rockland Realty Corp., who served as sole broker in the sale. The 42,897-sf building was sold by Samron Realty Co., LLC. Well Bread Loaf had occupied the industrial building for the past 15 years. Rockland Realty officials noted that the baker's ownership changed hands several years ago and last month the firm consolidated its operations in Congers to another baking facility in New Jersey.

Baronia Group, LLC is a real estate holding company owned by the principals of Flynn Contracting of Blauvelt and Fischer Foods, a food distributor based in the Hunts Point section of the Bronx. Fischer Foods will be relocating to the Brenner Drive property as will Flynn Contracting, which will be expanding its headquarters operations with the move to the Congers property, Rockland Realty officials note. In total, the two firms expect to expand their combined workforce from 65 employees to 80 workers in the next five years.

Yassky notes that the two companies plan to begin operations at 200 Brenner Drive in the near future. There will be excess space for rent ranging from 6,000 sf to 12,000 sf of warehouse space at the 200 Brenner Drive property.
