"Location was a major issue." Binswanger/CBB senior vice president Holmes Davis tells GlobeSt.com, noting that the site's multi-modal transportation and location just 20 minutes from Motorola's Fort Worth manufacturing plant helped seal the long-term deal. "Logistically it made a lot of sense."
The firm, which took over space occupied by UPS Logistics, is expected to complete its move by year's end, once renovations are completed, says Davis. The freestanding building is located at 4801 Westport Pkwy.
The AllianceTexas Industrial Park, a master-planned industrial community is being developed by Hillwood Development, owned by Ross Perot Jr. Among its current tenants are more than 100 major corporations, including Southwestern Bell, UPS Logistics and Volkswagen
