Brokers Cook Up Restaurant Space for Sixth St.

AUSTIN-Tim Jarvis and Casey Beasley are marketing 25,000 sf in the Littlefield Mall in the CBD for a name-brand restaurant. They're looking to enliven the block east of Congress Avenue and bridge gap between the entertainment and Warehouse districts.

AUSTIN-Brokers Tim Jarvis and Casey Beasley want to shift tenants around Sixth Street and Congress Avenue to add another restaurant to the Sixth Street entertainment district mix. Jarvis, Beasley and building owner Merit Texas Properties plan to combine the former Gold’s space in the Littlefield Mall with that of several other former tenants to create space for a 25,000-sf restaurant.

Gold’s Gym is moving from Littlefield Mall to the Scarbrough building, where it’s taking 25,000 sf on the basement level. The space formerly housed part of Scarbrough’s department store and more recently the space has been home to a software company and an executive suites group.

They are seeking a national restaurant company, which would complement the Driskill and the Hard Rock Café, which opened earlier this year a block east of the building. It also would help bridge the Sixth Street entertainment district with the warehouse district west of Congress Avenue.
