Lopez tells GlobeSt.com that the Klein Family Trust of Brentwood acquired the property at 1955 E. Daily Drive, near the Carmen Drive exit of the 101 Freeway, from the Yadegar Family Trust of Beverly Hills. The 1.75-acre site is close to the Camarillo Outlet Mall and to Camarillo Plaza.
Lopez who represented both the buyers and the seller, tells GlobeSt.com that the deal is unusual because auto service centers rarely trade.
"They're cash cows, and the owners usually hold onto them for a long time," he says. The centers are often built in industrial areas with limited parking and no curb appeal, he says, but this one is clean and attractive.
The Camarillo center was built in 1990. Tenants at the single-story, concrete block center include AT&T, Japanese car specialists Camarillo Independent, and Transcare Transmissions, all in leases that Lopez negotiated.
