Gourmet Specialties, a local subsidiary of Unified Western Grocers, has signed a lease renewal agreement for 194,350-sf of warehouse space at 21001-21005 Cabot Blvd. The company's space includes 11,552-sf of office space. Joss Hanna of Equity Office Properties Trust represented Gourmet Specialties, while Greig Lagomarsino of Colliers International represented building owner Equity Office Properties Trust. The five-year deal is valued at roughly $4.5 million.
As well, Pactiv Corp. leased 75,152-sf of warehouse from Prologis Trust in a building on 2351 Davis Avenue. The company will relocate from its existing 55,000-sf warehouse, which is also in Hayward, in January 2003. Pactiv's new space includes 2,500-sf of office space, fire sprinklers, and dock and drive in truck loading. Pactiv Corporation was represented by Craig Hagglund of Lee & Associates East Bay Inc., while Prologis Trust was represented in house by Dwain Berry. The five-year lease is valued at roughly $1.43 million.
