PHILADELPHIA-Aurora, CO-based ProLogis has leased 628,507 sf in three buildings at Airpark Distribution Center outside Cincinnati, OH to Germany-based Adidas Sales Inc. Terms of the lease are undisclosed.

Asking rental rates for warehouse/distribution space in that market range from $3.50 per sf to $5 per sf, according to GlobeSt.com research.

Adidas will distribute its full line of apparel and sportswear from this location, which is on I-275 and Route 20, and has easy access to states East of the Rockies and the local airport. A portion of the space will be occupied by Adidas-owned Salomon NA, which supplies winter sports accessories and apparel.

ProLogis, a worldwide distribution and logistics specialist, has five buildings totaling 1.3 million sf in Airpark. Tenants in its other buildings there include Duluth, GA-based Innotrac; Pittsburgh-based Anex Warehouse; Inman, SC-based Concept Packaging, and Grove Transportation.

James E. White, first vice president of ProLogis, says in a statement that the new facilities would enable Adidas “to successfully streamline its supply chain operations and . . . accommodate the company's changing seasonal logistics needs.”
