Record Industrial Rent for Winchester

LONDON-A new development and investment company has achieved a mighty pounds 8 ($12) per sf for two small units on Moorside Road. It is Surrey-based Nationwide Developments first scheme.

LONDON-Surrey-based property development and investment company Nationwide Developments–launched just last week–has announced the completion of its first industrial development. The rent it achieved at its scheme in Winchester, Hampshire, hit £8 ($12) per sf: a record for the city. Moorside Point, Moorside Road, Winchester, is a new light industrial/distribution development located on the established Winnall Industrial Estate close to junction 9 of the M3.

Unit 1 at 3,918 sf was let to Warren & Sons, represented by Warwick Martel, on a 20-year lease with a break clause at the 15th year. Unit 2 at 4,951 sf let to LH Conservatories on similar terms. Both units are on ground and first floor.
