Bakery Buys Mixed-Use Facility for $2.1M

SAN DIEGO, CA-A locally based bakery has shelled out $2.1 million for a recently built facility in Otay Mesa’s six-building Britannia Corporate Center complex.

Completed this past June, the new shell building encompasses a total of 34,153 sf, which consists of both industrial and office space. It stands on a 1.98-acre parcel at 2545 Britannia Blvd., which is located in Otay Mesa’s State Enterprise Zone and Foreign Trade Zone. The buyer, Raptor Holdings LLC dba S & S Bakery, plans to move into the newly acquired facility in early 2003. A family-operated wholesale bakery, S & S’s clientele includes San Diego military installations, school districts, hotels, restaurants and catering companies.
