Westfork Plaza, located at 15825 Pines Blvd., is a 396,681-sf, 91% occupied shopping center. Anchor tenants are Winn-Dixie, Kmart and Regal Cinemas. Other tenants include Blockbuster Video, Party City, Rag Shop and La Ideal Baby Store.

"I like the shopping center because it is in a growing area," says Antonio Vilarino, the restaurant's owner. "I think it is well-situated and has great tenants." The population within a five-mile radius of Westfork Plaza is expected to increase from 179,235 to 210,052 by 2007, according to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau.

Terranova president Beth Azor says she expects the restaurant to generate traffic for neighboring tenants. Alex Munoz, a commercial associate with Terranova Corp., represented Westfork Plaza in this transaction. Vilarino owns eight restaurants: seven in Broward County and one in Dade County.
