Jeff Wentworth, vice president for the office division of Grubb & Ellis Co. in Phoenix, tells GlobeSt.com that ST Assembly Test Service, which has testing facilities throughout the world, chose the two-year-old building at 1711 Greentree Dr. because the location offered easy access to the freeway and surrounding high-tech firms while providing nearby amenities for employees.

"They really liked the location due to the amenities in the area," Wentworth said. "That was one of the things that drove them to this site. There is everything from restaurants to gyms that are very important to the employees at STATS."

The company leased the space for $600,000 from building owner, Multi Employer Property Trust. Wentworth along with Steve Mardian, senior vice president with Grubb & Ellis' industrial division, negotiated the deal for the tenants. The building owner was represented by Blaine Black of Dallas-based Trammell Crow Co.'s Phoenix office.
