SAN ANTONIO-Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union is building a 112,000-sf building at Interstate 35 and Loop 1604 in northeast San Antonio. When completed, the administrative service center will house 400 credit union employees.

The building is going up on 20 acres. The tract size will allow the credit union to control where and how it grows for the next 50 years, said John Kelly, the credit union’s senior vice president for planning and marketing. The credit union bought the land from Byron Routh Associates. The location is in the middle of the credit union’s service area and close to its main office at Randolph-Brooks Air Force Base, where it was chartered in 1952.
