BlueStar acquired 100% ownership of Sterling Austin Aero LP., which includes Austin Aero Jet Center at the city's' airport. The operation's 15,000-sf terminal was built in 1999, the same time the airport was transformed from a US Air Force base to municipal airport. It includes a boarding and waiting area, nine acres of ramp space, 65 tie-down spaces, 14,000 sf of hangars and several amenities.
The Greeley operation, Greeley-Weld Jet Center, has a new terminal, an 81,000-foot ramp and a 10,000-foot runway. Under the terms of acquisition, BlueStar issued 5.31 million shares of common stock, 26.3% of the shares outstanding following the acquisition.
