Texas, Colorado Airport Properties Sold

AUSTIN-BlueStar Leasing of Houston takes over a 15,000-sf terminal and nine acres of ramp space in Austin and a new terminal with 81,000-sf ramp in Greeley, CO from Sterling Austin Aero. The takeover firm issued 5.31 million shares to close the deal.

AUSTIN-A fixed-based operator at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport has been purchased by a Houston company, BlueStar Leasing Inc. The deal included a fixed base operation in Greeley, CO.

BlueStar acquired 100% ownership of Sterling Austin Aero LP., which includes Austin Aero Jet Center at the city’s’ airport. The operation’s 15,000-sf terminal was built in 1999, the same time the airport was transformed from a US Air Force base to municipal airport. It includes a boarding and waiting area, nine acres of ramp space, 65 tie-down spaces, 14,000 sf of hangars and several amenities.
