"They liked the look of the building and the way it was designed. It has architectural appeal," Jeff Hartland with Grubb & Ellis Co.'s office division tells GlobeSt.com, referring to the 8502 E. Princess Dr. building chosen by Gilbertson Associates Inc.
The firm, formerly located in Scottsdale Airpark, was so impressed by the 40,000-sf building's dramatic architecture, that it signed on to be a seven-year tenant at about $24 per sf, Hartland said. Located in North Scottsdale's Perimeter Center, the Princess II is owned by TD Princess Ventures II.
Hartland and Eric Wichterman with Grubb & Ellis' investment division represented Gilbertson Associates in the lease negotiations. Michael White and Mike Kitlica, both of Insignia ESG's Phoenix team, handled talks for the building owner.
