GMAC Commercial Holding Creates New Hierarchy

PHILADELPHIA-Following a series of appointments, the commercial real estate finance arm of Horsham, PA-based GMAC establishes an office of the chairman and promotes two executives to top spots in the new office, described as the lending company's "senior decision-making body.

PHILADELPHIA-Horsham, PA-based GMAC Commercial Holding Corp. forms a new post, called “the office of the chairman,” and promotes Robert D. Feller to chief executive officer and Scot B. Barker to president and chief operating officer. They join David E. Creamer, who will remain as chairman of GMACCH, and Charles E. Dunleavy Jr., vice chairman.

The four are members of the new office, which “will serve as the senior decision-making body, formulate corporate strategy and interact with GMAC Financial Services,” according to a statement. GMACCH is the commercial real estate finance arm of GMAC.

Feller and Barker will be run day-to-day operations, according to the company. Creamer and Dunleavy are in charge of setting long-term strategy, the statementcontinues.
