Barton to Lead CoreNet Global's Southeast Chapter

MIAMI-Charles Barton is a founding principal of CRESA Partners Miami, a corporate real estate advisory firm. Goals for the association include education, networking, leadership development and community involvement.

MIAMI-CRESA Partners Miami founding principal Charles Barton has been named president of the Southeast Chapter of CoreNet Global, an association for corporate real estate and related professionals. Under Barton’s leadership, the chapter’s agenda will include knowledge-sharing and professional recognition. Barton replaces outgoing president Mark Levy, regional vice president of Opus South.

“We are excited to offer our members opportunities for education, networking, leadership development and community involvement,” says Barton in a statement. “The goal is to support the members in creating strategic value for their enterprises. We are here to support the corporate real estate mission and those charged with carrying out that mission.”

The chapter’s events planned for next year include educational sessions, point-counterpoint debates (such as the upcoming debate involving landlord vs. tenant), a conference on corporate real estate issues in Latin America and corporate end-user roundtables.
