All but six of the available properties are AmeriHost Inns. They range in price up to $7.9 million, which Arlington Hospitality hopes to get for its Days Inn in nearby northwest suburban Niles. Most of the portfolio is in small cities, mostly in the Midwest. Arlington Hospitality owns or manages 73 hotels, most of them AmeriHost Inns, in 17 states.

Holtz acquired an 89-room property in Vicksburg, MS and a 64-room property in Freeport, IL as part of his settlement agreement with the company. He is being replaced on an interim basis by chief financial officer James B. Dale.
