DENTON, TX-Superstore retailer Hastings Entertainment is readying plans to move into 21,036 sf of inline space in a relocation and expansion of its existing store in Colorado Square, a shopping center at the junction of Colorado Boulevard and the Loop 288 in Denton. In Plano, doors open on a new steakhouse concept and the suburb of Carrollton lands a day care.
Steve Greenberg and Wyatt Russo, both of Dallas-based Weitzman Group, handled the relocation. The locally based Golden Triangle JV is the building owner. Hastings Entertainment will gain 3,536 sf in the move.
In Plano, a local restaurateur opened his first eatery for a new concept, T.D.’s Hideout, a moderately priced steakhouse. The 7,500-sf restaurant is situated in a former Tony Roma’s in the RREEF-owned Preston Towne Crossing at the crossroads of Preston Road and Park Boulevard. But, says Dennis Leibovitz of the Weitzman Group, T.D.’s Hideout, owned by a consortium led by Bill Lyons and Tim Dorsey, both of Dallas, is looking for a second location in Fort Worth.
