The development includes townhomes with attached garages as well as one-, two- and three-bedroom luxury apartment homes. Thirty of the townhomes have commercial/retail spaces on the bottom floor with direct street access. The project also provides the option to lease the live-work (commercial/retail) space on a stand-alone basis for commercial use.
Underscoring both a national trend and strong local demand for a new work-lifestyle option, Legacy Partners leased three of its live-work units prior to completion to Massage Clinique at Harbour Pointe, The Counseling Office and a real estate agent. In addition, more than 70 of the apartment homes have been leased since completion.
"We always knew there was a demand for new housing in the area. However, in addition to bringing new housing to Snohomish County, we've also integrated more lifestyle options into the Bella Terra community that meet the growing needs of people who work from home and the entrepreneurial needs of small independent business owners," says John Hatton, Vice President of Legacy Partners Residential. "The live-work townhomes and for-lease commercial space adds to the urban village concept of Village Center."
Bella Terra is located on Harbour Pointe Boulevard between Harbour Reach and Possession Way near Interstate 5 and Interstate 405. Floor plans range from 712 sf to 1,836 sf and lease around $770 to $2,090 per month. All live-work townhomes have direct street parking that encourages the integration of commercial and retail uses on the first floor of the development.

Bella Terra residences feature full size washer/dryers, patios and decks, upgraded finishes and optional attached garages. Community amenities include an expansive clubhouse featuring a sauna, business center, conference room, shower and exercise room equipped with weights and cardiovascular equipment. Walking trails are located throughout the project, adding to the pedestrian orientation of the project. There is also 4,000 sf of retail space available for plans of adding a restaurant.
Under a Development Agreement between the City of Mukilteo and Chinook Development Corp., Village Center at Harbour Pointe is planned as an urban village including 232 single-family homes, 380 units of multifamily anchored by up to 100,000 sf of mixed retail, restaurant and office space opening onto the central plaza area. Current development plans propose 9,500 sf of retail and 6,000 sf of office space with an additional 40,000 sf of mixed retail and office and up to 145 units of luxury units in the future.
