$2M Daily Grill is on the Menu

BETHESDA, MD-Los Angeles, CA-based Grill Concepts Inc. has committed to a lease of 6,000 sf at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda, where it will expand its chain of Daily Grill restaurants in the Metropolitan Washington, DC area from three to four. Grill Concepts signed a long-term deal for the space and will open the new $2-million eatery sometime in the summer of 2003.

Located on well-traveled Wisconsin Avenue just a stone’s throw outside of District city limits and just six miles from downtown Washington, DC, the property is adjacent to the Bethesda Metro station, which is the center of a popular hub. “This site will be a strong addition to our locations in the Georgetown Inn, in the downtown area at 18th and M streets, and in Tysons Corner II,” Grill Concepts president and CEO Bob Spivak says. “We are particularly pleased with the prime location in Bethesda and believe it accommodates a complementary combination of corporate and residential patrons.” The 384-room hotel was built in 1985 as part of the $160-million Bethesda Metro Center mixed-use development
